Product Description

This Visual Oral Switch-Light Guide™ (VOSLG) with aircraft systems is comprehensive in its coverage. It is a digital aircraft operating manual, illustrated in full “lights illuminated” colors. This software is designed to efficiently help you through an initial ground school. It is perfect for recurrent training, simulator preparation, and Type Ratings.

Each ERJ145 / EMB145 switch light guide includes dozens of cockpit photographs and system pop-ups!

Every essential system is covered. The data is compiled from many manufacturer and airline sources. As many options as are possible are included. All Differences Training is marked and detailed. The information is constantly updated, revised, and improved. It is a re-written cockpit pilot handbook using Information Mapping™ to readily explain all essential knowledge while simultaneously reinforcing the data. It is the fastest, easiest way to comprehend your aircraft.

We know what you need. We serve an international market of pilots in over 500 airlines (all the legacy and most regionals, etc.), governments, agencies and administrations including FAA, NASA, IATA, JAA, and corporations.

It is organized in the pattern of the typical FAA/JAA oral exam. We call it a Visual Oral Switch-Light Guide™. It presents the material in the same way the pilot must use his training to fly the aircraft: from the cockpit to the aircraft. But we also hyperlink all the related aspects – you may training from any direction: cockpit – schematics – diagrams – synoptics; all have the essential data replicated so you will always find everything easily. You can go anywhere in usually one or two clicks. But to see anything you only have to float your mouse near any item – it will automatically detect and display a pop-up explaining the functions of a switch or reasons a light illuminates.

Drive cancer patients to appointments. Every day thousands of cancer patients need a ride to treatment, but some may not have a way to get there. The American Cancer Society Road To Recovery program provides transportation to and from treatment for people with cancer who do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves.

They do not require any computer speed or memory. These electronic interactive CBT-style training aids operate on any computer OS.

You won’t be disappointed. We do not teach you anything you will have to unlearn later. Check out our Testimonials – pilots love our unique training presentations!

Hyperlinked contents explain ALL cockpit panels and systems. You can study from the cockpit to the system and in reverse.

  1. Good program with a few caveats

Posted by Unknown on 7th Feb 2018

It’s a good program to help visualize what happens when you push a switch or turn a knob. A few issues I’ve had (which were quickly dealt with by tech support.)
    - On Windows, you must have Excel. It does not work on Chrome.
    - It is an older program, so there was quite a bit of fixing to get it to work with Windows 10.
    - Know your airplane. While the systems mostly function the same, different models have variations and limitations. In short, this is good for systems/switchology, but don’t use it in place of your companies official information in terms of numbers/limitations.

  2. The best

I had a problem downloading this product to my computer on Father's Day and when I called up for help at 7 AM there was someone there to help me that's customer service and product is great.

Setting a new level in performance and economics

Designed for short to mid-range flights, the Embraer 175 features a flexible seat configuration so you can match capacity to market demand. Achieve greater productivity and higher utilization.

FleetSmart

Seize new opportunities and sustain profitability

Helping our customers sustain profitability and giving them the competitive edge is central to our FleetSmart philosophy and reflected in our E-Jets family of aircraft. Filling the gap between ‘regional’ and ‘mainline’, E-Jets deliver excellent performance and operational efficiencies, both in the air and on the ground. The undisputed leader in the 70-130 + seat segment, the E-Jet is a true business warrior.

economics

The aircraft that looks after your bottom line

An optimized design means that the E175 is built with the lowest possible aircraft operating rate in order to carry the highest revenue-generating payload. Since fuel consumption is proportional to aircraft weight, a lighter airplane means cost savings that go right to your bottom line. When it comes best cost per trip, its the leader in the segment.

A streamlined maintenance program, a high degree of parts commonality among the family and fast turnaround times (in as few as 15 minutes) increases daily utilization and efficiency while decreasing unit costs.

Smart aftersales care with tight SLAs in place with suppliers minimizes operating costs, whilst again, maximizing utilization.

performance

A combination of performance and efficiency

The E175 incorporates fly-by-wire technology that helps to reduce pilot workload, improves aircraft performance, simplifies systems architecture and minimizes weight and maintenance.

cabin

An intelligent use of space

E-Jets are designed from a double-bubble fuselage concept, a shape derived from vertically overlapping two ovals to produce a four-abreast cross section.

The widest point of the upper oval, which forms the main cabin, is at elbow level when passengers are seated. This maximizes personal space and allows the installation of wider seats and a wider aisle compared to most larger jets. The width of the lower oval is greatest near the cabin floor which boosts baggage and cargo capacity.

Adding to the sense of spaciousness is a two meter high cabin, near-vertical sidewalls and large eye-level windows, almost 30% larger than those on other aircraft, that let in lots of natural light. What’s more, under seat areas are free of support railings so that passengers can stretch out in greater comfort.

E-Jets incorporate a human-focused design approach emphasizing physical and cognitive requirements and abilities. In the cockpit, the ergonomic placement of instruments and controls in a dark and quiet environment creates unsurpassed situational awareness that reduces pilot workload.

environment

Sustainable and environmentally friendly

E-Jets comply with ICAO Annex 16 Chapter IV noise restrictions mandated in 2006.

Together with our partners, we have incorporated new sound-absorbing materials, produced lighter, quieter systems, and improved engine nacelle acoustics. Embraer teams continually work to improve aircraft operational procedures to ensure uncompromised performance at noise-sensitive airports.

General Electric’s CF34 engine is designed to be more efficient – CO, UHC, NOx and smoke emission margins range from 26% to an impressive 98% below ICAO Annex 16 (Volume II) CAEP/6 limits for the E170/E175.

range

An aircraft that goes the distance

The Advanced Range (AR) version of the E175 can carry a full load of passengers up to 2,200 nm (4,074 km).
